<HISTORY>

    The Sagrada Familia has been originally started being constructed as a temple. Maria Bocabella i Verdaguer founded the Associació Espiritual de Devots de Sant Josep, and started campaigning the construction of this building in 1874. In 1881, they bought, with a lot of donations, the land where now the Sagrada Familia is located. In 1882, the construction has started. In 1883, Gaudi took over the project and started to build it with its unique appearance. Since his planned structure is so complicated that its construction has not finished yet even five generations have watched the Sagrada Familia under construction. The construction work is expected to finish in 2026. Still, we can enjoy beautiful decorations with stained-glass windows once we get into the building.

<WHAT TO DO>

It covers more than 100 acres of the World Heritage rainforest and there, we can experience native Aussie wildlife, adventure and Aboriginal cultural experiences. There are mainly three things we can experience. First, "Army Duck Tour" let us see tropical plants and wildlife. The driver of the Army Duck explains the ecosystem there and guide us through the mysterious tropical rainforest. Second, "Aboriginal Cultural Displays" enables us to experience and see the Aboriginal culture. We can enjoy their music, dance and playing the didgeridoo, an Aboriginal musical instrument. Third, we can take a picture with a koala and/or a crocodile. Queensland, where this park is located, is the only province in Australia in which we are allowed to touch koalas. Also, around that photo shooting area, we can see much Aussie wildlife such as kangaroos.
